Primeiro Bike4All de 2024 e que melhor forma de começar o novo ano com o pé direito…no pedal, a conhecer pessoas novas e partilhar o desafio de (re)descobrir a cidade sobre duas rodas!
Com um percurso bastante suave e tranquilo, passámos por uma das ciclovias mais importantes da cidade, na Avenida da República. Fizemos uma paragem para recuperar da chuva e beber algo quente no Quiosque do Campo Grande e seguimos pela Cidade Universitária, de onde regressámos pela mesma ciclovia.
Apesar da chuva, contámos com 10 participantes, incluindo 3 que se estrearam no Bike4All. O apoio aos ciclistas iniciantes foi constante, o grupo manteve-se sempre unido e é com muito orgulho que podemos dizer que todo o grupo terminou ao mesmo tempo novamente na Praça do Saldanha. O tempo não permitiu o habitual pic-nic, mas fica a promessa de uma nova tentativa no próximo passeio!
[EN] The first Bike4All of 2024, and what better way to start the new year off on the right foot… on the right pedal, meeting new people and sharing the challenge of (re)discovering the city on two wheels!
With a very smooth and peaceful route, we passed along one of the most important cycle paths in the city, on Avenida da República. We made a stop to recover from the rain and drink something warm at the Kiosk in Campo Grande, and then continued through Cidade Universitária, from where we retraced our steps.
Despite the rain, we had 10 participants, including 3 who made their Bike4All debut. The support for beginner cyclists was constant, the group always remained together and it is with great pride that we can say that the entire group finished together at Praça do Saldanha. The weather didn't allow for the usual picnic, but we promise to try again on the next ride!
